DETECTIVE PASSION
In recent months, we’ve noticed on our site a surge in interest in crime stories. We admit we’ve sometimes prioritized other fiction, though this specific genre is certainly not lacking from our site: just look at classics like BLACK BOOK DETECTIVE, DETECTIVE SHORT STORIES, DETECTIVE STORY MAGAZINE, NEW DETECTIVE MAGAZINE, STARTLING DETECTIVE ADVENTURES, THRILLING DETECTIVE, TRUE DETECTIVE MYSTERIES, TWO COMPLETE DETECTIVE BOOKS, and even the unusual GIRL’S DETECTIVE MYSTERIES and the spicy PRIVATE DETECTIVE STORIES, all of which are featured on our Pulp Magazines To Read page.

We’ve found, however, that our users’ appetites are insatiable (bless them), so this month we’re adding one more hit to our list: the Ace Fiction Group‘s intriguing 10 STORY DETECTIVE, of which we’re restoring at the moment 15 issues including the very first (January 1938).
“THE MAGAZINE THAT NEVER DIES” GROWS!
Two more issues of WEIRD TALES (December 1926 and January 1927) have been added to their page. Our goal remains to obtain all the numbers constituting the original complete collection.
MORE PULP COVERS
14 more restored Sci Fi covers (from 1926 to 1970, including the cover of the original first edition of Thea Von Arbou’s classic METROPOLIS) and 2 more Horror covers (from 1935 to 1946) have been added to their respective sections.
MORE GOOD OLD COMICS…
The Old Comics section has seen the addition of the scientific FUTURE WORLD, the only 2 issues released in 1946, THE LONE RANGER, 10 issues from 1948 to 1952, and its companion TONTO, 6 issues from 1953 to 1958. To complete the triptych we intend to add during this month also the series dedicated to the Lone Ranger’s horse, HI-YO SILVER!
We have also added 3 issues of the classic BATMAN (June 1942, August 1942, October 1942) to their section.

VINTAGE GENERAL MAGAZINES
Finally we added the glamorous periodical LIBERTY, our first 10 issues from 1925 to 1944, in the Old Magazines section.

Like all the material on our site, its page too is slowly but steadily growing.
Dear friends, that’s all for this month
Enjoy this wonderful end of summer on
