Our affectionate readers of the monthly Selected Pulp Magazine will find this month an 1899 issue containing a juicy advertising. It shows the best and everlasting idea for a Christmas gift: a nice book (as they intended them in 1899). The topics of the presented 16 books look just very cool as they range from astronomy to dancing, to law and how to keep out of it and many others. Moreover, every volume has some six lines of interesting, short description. If you too think it’s worth looking at, we reproduce it below.
