Hello everyone.
This endless summer is drawing to a close, and the first mists are not far away…which makes us want to immerse ourselves even more in the dark and ominous atmospheres of our favorite pulp magazine: so, five issues of WEIRD TALES from 1927-1928 are ready to be added, in the coming days, to their own section on Pulpmagazines.org.
CLASSIC BATMAN COMICS
Ten issues of the original BATMAN series (December 1942 to June 1944) have been added to the 13 comic books already in their section, for a total of 23 issues currently available on our site.
More issues are on the way.
Anyone interested in the fascinating connection between BATMAN and the pulps can read an article we dedicated to the topic entitled “Batman and Pulp Magazines: Unveiling the Noir Origins“.
VINTAGE MAGAZINES
Finally, the Old Magazines section saw the addition of the generalist THE AMERICAN MAGAZINE, in two independent versions, with 12 issues from 1887 to 1952.
